Khaisri graduated high school from Satriwithaya School. Her academic performance was in the top 50 of the country, allowing her to receive a scholarship by HRH the Princess Royal through Satriwithaya Association. She went on to study at the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University and graduated with honors and earned a second honors degree in French in 1960. Khunying Khaisri worked as a school teacher at Satriwithaya School. Because there were no jobs in the French language, she taught English instead. At the same time, she continued to pursue her MA in French. After that, she moved to an art school within the fine arts department, before she landed a French teaching job at the faculty of archaeology, Silpakorn University.
