Dr. Koraon Wongkamhaeng is a lecturer at the institute of Marine Resources Coastal. Her expertise is in marine biodiversity and focuses on the common benthic invertebrates (e.g. amphipods, mollusks, polychaetas) which will lead to better understanding of coastal ecosystems. She is an expert in Environment Taxonomy of gammarid amphipod in Southeast Asia. Her research interests are in Amphipod taxonomy and ecology and Marine Invertebrate communities in coastal ecosystems. She got an award under the category: Novel finding to find the new species of shrimp : Ceradocus adangensis.
