Assoc. Prof. Porntip Prapunpoj Ph.D. is a scientist and a lecturer in science and technology. Her area of research and interests are the effect of thyroid hormones for survival; the structure and the working relationship of thyroid hormone; Alzheimer’s disease; the effects of plasma proteins and it’s development of freshwater and marine animals. Some of her outstanding research are the results of a study that cut down amyloid beta and neuropeptide Y with chimeric transthyretin for its application, and thyroid hormones to increase aquaculture fish. She is also an expert in using information technology and computer programs to support performance in the Department of Biochemistry, Prince Songkla University.
