Dr. Tanaradee Khumya is a Lecturer at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Kasetsart University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Gender and Development Studies from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). She is an expert in social sciences and the environment, specialized in quantitative methods of social science research, environmental, gender and social development, and community development. She has published a series of researches including, Participation in flood management for the Project of Water Management in Chao Phraya Dam supported by The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA); Public relations awareness on environment in the implementation of the Chatuchak Park; The gender remittances and changes in women status in households, a case study in Savannakhet, Lao PDR; Road development, and changes in the livelihood and mobility in Savannakhet, Lao PDR.
