Dr. Weeranan Damrongsakul is a Lecturer at the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia, Mahidol University. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Silpakorn University. Her expertise is in architectural heritage management, tourism and the Thai Lue tribe’s folklore and performances, which are an attraction for many tourists visiting the country. Her studies and research about the Thai Lue village, in Amphoe Tha Wang Pha, Nan province inspired her to write books and academic journals. She is also part of the Committee plan for Golden Jubilee National Museum (Ethnography).
